FIELD: advanced radar systems for airway traffic control and airspace monitoring. SUBSTANCE: known radar system incorporates n ≥ 2 transceiving modules and processing module; some of transceiving modules are designed for operation in short-wave range and remaining ones, in long-wave range; inputs of short- wave modules are connected to additional outputs of processing module and the latter is provided with control device whose input is connected to second input of processing module; n outputs are provided as additional outputs of processing module. Novelty is that radar system has n ≥ 1 transceiving modules and radar station; outputs of transceiving modules are connected to inputs of radar station whose output functions as that of radar system; radar station is designed for operation in short-wave range and transceiving modules, in long-wave range, or vice versa; inputs of short-wave transceiving modules are connected to additional outputs of radar station; in addition, n > 1 more inputs of primary data processing and analyzing device are introduced in radar station.
