FIELD: radiolocation, perspective radars for control over air traffic and air space. SUBSTANCE: method of radar detection and tracking of objects is based on division of operations for detection, resolving and tracking of objects between radars. These operations are carried out with the use of n ≥ 2 radars with wave lengths radar 1, radar 2 ... radar n. For resolution of objects detected by radar 1 there are used in sequence radar 2 employing data of radar 1 up to radar n employing data of radar n-1. Objects are tracked with the aid of radar i with i<n and coordinates are defined more exactly if precision of their measurement by radar i appears to be insufficient using radar j with j>i. With this in mind wave lengths of radars in radar complex made of n ≥ 2 radars are selected from relation λ1 > λ2 >...> λn ( radar 1, radar 2. .. radar n ). In this case output of radar i, i=1...(n- 1) is connected to input of radar (i+1) and output of radar n turns to be output of radar complex or additional outputs of radar n are connected to additional inputs of radar i. EFFECT: provision for detection and tracking of unobtrusive objects at maximum ranges with required precision and minimum consumption of energy by radars with higher resolution capability. 4 cl
