FIELD: veterinary epizootology, in particular, evaluation of epizootic and bioecological data in agricultural production. SUBSTANCE: method involves evaluating and taking into account the influence of anthropogenic and bioecological factors, area of hay flood meadows, area of marshy meadows, population of livestock staying in meadows in summer and population of livestock subjected to dehelminthization against fasciolosis at stable keeping period; additionally introducing influencing (+) sign factors, such as hay flood meadows area and total flood meadow area ratio of 1:50, marshy meadow area and total meadow area ratio of 1:50, ratio of population of livestock staying in meadows and total livestock population of 1:50, ratio of population of dehelminthized livestock and total livestock of 1:50 into formula for determining the fasciolosis prediction coefficient (FPC); considering unfavorable epizootic fasciolosis situation at FPC value exceeding 3.5-4 and favorable epizootic fasciolosis situation at FPC value below 3.5-4.
