FIELD: construction of multistory buildings. SUBSTANCE: proposed multifunctional cable system includes central distributor of building with points of connection of main cable of complex of buildings and main cables of building pulled in direction from central distributor to each story of building. Each story of building carries story distributors with connection to each of them of proper main cable of building and story horizontal cable pulled through rooms of this story. Each main cable of building and each horizontal cable presents set of individual cables formed as common group that includes power cable for power supply network of building and cables based on twisted pair and fiber-optical cables for communication systems of building. Each story distributor includes distribution cabinet for connection of cables based on twisted pair and fiber-optical cables of corresponding main cable of building and story horizontal cable and distribution cabinet for connection of power cables of corresponding main cable of building and story horizontal cable spaced apart. Working positions each including at least one socket coupled to power cable and at least one socket connected to proper cable of communication systems of building are arranged in each room of story at preset distance one from another and in number proportional to area of rooms.
