FIELD: rocket engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed nozzle unit has several round de Laval nozzles provided with common flat head, each thrust wall of head being extension of their supersonic circuits. Two side walls of head are arranged square to thrust walls of head. Thrust walls of head are connected with its side walls by means of hinge joints with possibility of turning and fixing relative to side walls of head. Hinge joints are arranged at distance of 0- 0.5 L from head outlet section, where L is length of head. Turning of thrust walls of head permits control of nozzle unit altitude tolerance. EFFECT: reduced losses of thrust with nozzle unit operating at overexpansion conditions. 2 cl, 2 dwg
