Abstract RU 2159862 C2

FIELD: flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed power unit has two or more cylindrical combustion chambers arranged in one or two rows and provided with round de Laval nozzles united by common flat head. Each thrust wall of head is extension of supersonic section circuits, and two side walls are arranged square to head thrust walls. Each row of combustion chambers with round de Laval nozzles rigidly connected with corresponding thrust wall of flat head is connected with power unit housing by means of hinge joint for turning relative to housing. Hinge joint is located in center of application of resultant of internal and external forces acting onto wall of nozzle assembly (de Laval nozzle and flat head.). Two side walls of head are rigidly secured on power unit housing. EFFECT: provision of increase of mean specific impulse in flight path, increase of payload or flying range owing to increase of power unit thrust. 4 cl, 7 dwg
