FIELD: pipe line joints of high and low pressures, high vacuum, high and low temperatures, aggressive media; automobile industry; aeronautical engineering; rocketry; shipbuilding and other industries. SUBSTANCE: sealing-up is effected by means of flexible bush centered with the aid of centering bush; these bushes are engageable at relative axial motion. In the course of tightening up the pipe lines, contact pressures at torus projections of flexible bush are equalized. At least two flat split adjusting rings are fitted at each end face of centering bush; tightening-up the pipe lines is continued till moment of tight contact of ends of pipe lines being tightened up, adjusting rings and end faces of centering bush. Seal is provided with centering bush fitted coaxially relative to flexible bush for their contact at relative axial motion. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of sealing-up detachable joints of pipe lines. 14 cl, 10 dwg
