FIELD: sealing of containers with radioactive materials. SUBSTANCE: sealing contains gasket provided with internal metal profiled ring. The gasket contains alternating turns of profiled metal band and filler of graphite foil, internal and external windings. The turns of the windings are welded together. The first turn of the internal winding is secured to the arresting ring. The sealing contains second external winding as external arresting ring. The second external winding and the first are the same. The height of the external winding is not higher than a distance between working surfaces. The gasket is made in such way that in initial state the filler projects outward end faces of the bend of the gasket. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the sealing. 5 cl, 3 dwg
