FIELD: remote control of flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: device provides selection of coordinates and input control signals, which are output by operator of flying vehicle. Signals are converted according orientation of flying vehicle in chosen coordinate system so that it responds to input control signals with respect to chosen coordinate system. Ground coordinate system, for example, true North direction, or initial position of operator can be used as coordinate system. Alternatively, coordinate system may be based on flying vehicle and be stationary with respect to it, or on orientation of operator with respect to Earth. Control commands are converted according to alterations in orientation of operator with respect to landscape marks in order to achieve coordinate system which is stationary with respect to operator and varying with respect to flying vehicle. EFFECT: increased efficiency of control. 7 cl, 6 dwg
