FIELD: medicine, in particular, social hygiene. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining the function of fat and muscular weight of individual's body in forming body weight index (BWI) by working out Table 1 indicating distribution of BWI and relative body fat weight ratios, and Table 2 indicating evaluation of physical development of military age teenagers. Usage of obtained results allows different states of physical development of military age teenagers to be differentiated and reason for reduction of BWI of military age teenagers, such as hypodynamia, starvation, chronic diseases, to be determined.
