METHOD FOR ASSESSING LEVEL OF PHYSICAL HEALTH OF SCHOOL STUDENT Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2675585 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, hygiene, in particular to the hygiene of children and adolescents, and can be used to assess the level of physical health of the school student. Determine the sex, age, number of permanent teeth of the school student. And also measure the following indicators of physical health: height, cm; weight, kg; Quetelet body mass index (BMI), kg/m2; vital capacity (VC), l; dynamometry of the right and left hand (RHD and LHD), kg; systolic and diastolic blood pressure (SBP and DBP), mm Hg; heart rate (HR). Next, determine the coefficient of VC (CVC, the ratio of the RHD (CRHD), the coefficient of the LHD (CLHD). On the basis of the obtained values, the average coefficient of the VC and dynamometry (CVCDYN) is determined using the stated formula. Then determine the coefficient of the SBP (CSBP), the coefficient of DBP (CDBP), the coefficient of HR (CHR). Based on the obtained values determine the average coefficient of hemodynamic parameters (CHDP) according to the stated formula. Determine the coefficient of body mass index (CBMI) and then – the coefficient of morphofunctional state (CMFS) according to the stated formula. Next, determine the coefficient of biological development (CBDa) on the basis of the number of permanent teeth or on the basis of the sum of points according to the formula of sexual development. Determine the coefficient of nutritional status (CNSa) based on BMI value. Negative values of all specified coefficients are assumed to be zero. Then calculate the integral coefficient of physical health (CPhS) according to the stated formula. CPhS value assesses the level of physical health of the student relative to the standard of physical health of the student of the relevant age group.

EFFECT: method allows to simply, quickly, affordably and objectively assess the level of physical health of schoolchildren by evaluating the complex of the most significant indicators.
