FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is method of preparing alpha-methoxyiminocarboxylic acid methylamides of formula I: α- wherein y is C-organic radical. Method is carried out by Pinner reaction of acylcyanide of formula II: α- with alcohol followed by reaction of ester formed in Pinner reaction: of formula IV: with (a) hydroxylamine to obtain oxime of formula V: by methylation of oxime of formula VI: or (b) with co- methylhydroxylamine to obtain oxime ester of formula VI: followed by reaction of oxime of formula VI with methylamine, Pinner reaction uses alcohol of formula III: wherein R is OH and boiling temperature of said alcohol is higher than 75 C. EFFECT: simplified process and high yield of the desired product. 11 cl, 14 ex, 22 tbl
