FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has two frequency converters 1 and 2, between which stepping-down high-frequency converter is inserted. Converter 1 increases frequency as factor of mains frequency and is equipped with direct voltage circuit using controlled reverse rectifier and voltage inverter. Converter 2 decreases frequency down to mains frequency and is designed as six-phase-to-three-phase zero cycle converter with natural commutation. Device provides pulse- width regulation of additional voltage in three ranges using zero cycle converter and amplitude regulation in each range using reverse rectifier. Load voltage is stabilized by means of reverse converter with respect to deviation of mains voltage and by means of zero cycle converter with respect to deviation of load voltage.
