DEVICE TO CONTROL THREE-PHASE VOLTAGE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2071632 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to control or stabilize three-phase voltage without distortion of phase of first harmonic component. Most advantageous application field for proposed device is transformer substation with capacity of 1000 kVA and higher. Device incorporates three-phase booster transformer and thyristor cycloconverter in circuit of primary winding of this transformer. Three-phase cycloconverter has single-phase link of increased frequency and presents two converters with synchronized control systems connected in series, one of them being three- phase-single-phase bridge cycloconverter and the other one being single- phase-three-phase cycloconverter. EFFECT: control or stabilization of three-phase voltage without distortion of phase of first harmonic component. 2 dwg
