FIELD: analytical methods in agriculture. SUBSTANCE: supercritical-state carbon dioxide is used as extractant to increase degree of recovery of tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin from soil to 96% and to avoid using toxic toluene, while extraction time is tenfold decreased.
