FIELD: drying gases by means of adsorbents; railway transport in production of compressed air for braking main; industries where gas drying process is effected at vibration action on adsorbers. SUBSTANCE: adsorber has hollow drum divided into sections with loose layer of sorbent; each section is provided with flexible flat hose located in parallel with central pipe for rotation of drum around horizontal axis; adsorber is also provided with control unit including the pressure and moisture content sensors; one end of flexible hose is periodically connected (as drum is revolving) with excessive pressure source and its other end is blanked off. EFFECT: constant quality of air drying under condition of vibratory action of adsorbers due to avoidance of flow of air being dried through space not filled with adsorbent near central pipe which may take place due to abrasion of adsorbent grains; reduced usage of metals and reduced power requirements. 3 dwg
