FIELD: concentration of ores; metallurgy; mining and other industries. SUBSTANCE: separator has working chamber mounted vertically for rotation in magnetic system and loading and unloading branch pipes. Working chamber made from nonmagnetic material is parabolic in form; magnetic system is provided with magnetic concentrators of varying polarity which are located over spiral lines. Pole pitch between concentrators over vertical line is lesser than that over horizontal line. Loading branch pipe is provided with plate feeder having outlet holes; it is mounted in working chamber for adjusting the feed of pulp vertically; unloading branch pipe is mounted in its upper portion and is communicated with circular toroidal receiver. Device for discharge of slag and light particles is made in bottom of working chamber; it is made in form of branch pipes mounted coaxially. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of concentration of slightly magnetic minerals in particular. 4 cl, 4 dwg
