FIELD: disintegration and classification of solid materials at concentrating plants. SUBSTANCE: device has a working chamber, drive, shaft with helical blades in form of spiral over entire length of chamber, loading and unloading chutes and unloading branch pipe for removal of outsize materials. Helical blades are lined with ring-shaped fluted plates made from wear- resistant polymer material having at least one slit. Plates are mounted at pitch equal to pitch of blades; outer edge of plates projects beyond generatrix of spiral. Working surface of plates has structure of radially oriented wedge-shaped or trapezoidal recesses and ridges. Plates may be made from separate segments reinforced with cord and mounted on front or rear side of helical blades. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of disintegration of solid materials for obtaining fine product; enhanced wear resistance of spiral blades. 7 cl, 8 dwg
