FIELD: mechanical engineering; inertia dry separation of dust in accompanying swirled gas flows. SUBSTANCE: swirled dust separator has cylindrical housing with tangentially installed branch pipe for inlet of secondary gas flow arranged in upper part of housing, vane swirler and axial-flow branch pipe to let out cleaned flow of gas. In lower part of housing branch pipe is provided for inlet of primary dust-laden gas flow, with flow stabilizer, cylindrical fairing, vane swirler, support plate and dust hopper. In proposed separator stabilizing contours of angular conjugations are used, made to contour of lemniscate with conventional radius of minimum curvature not less than 0.1 of diameter of branch pipe through which cleaned gas flow is let out. EFFECT: increased efficiency of dust trapping, prevention of parasitic swirls in separation chamber in secondary gas flow forming area. 2 cl, 2 dwg
