FIELD: shipbuilding; internal combustion engine exhaust system. SUBSTANCE: proposed exhaust system for submarine internal combustion engine has gas conduit with inner and outer flappers connected with diesel engine, and device for exhaust gas liquid cooling and cleaning device with water level transmitter and separator arranged inside submarine between diesel engine and inner flapper of gas conduit. Exhaust gas liquid cooling device has intake expansion chamber, exhaust narrowing chamber and auger swirler chamber arranged in between. Swirler chamber has welded - in taper branch pipes one of which is arranged in center, and other, over circumference. Mixers are building into taper branch pipes and secured in center. Mixers consists of auger and sprayer for water. Device is cooled. Water jacket of intake chamber is used as manifold to feed water to sprayers. Device can be used for cooling and humidifying of gases and for absorbing components from gas mixture. EFFECT: considerable improvement of mass-size characteristics of exhaust system, reduced exhaust gas temperature to 40-60 degrees and heat and gas traces and acoustic field level at preservation of hydrodynamic resistance of exhaust conduit within limits tolerable for diesel engine. 3 cl, 2 dwg
