CONCRETE MIX, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PRODUCTS FROM CONCRETE MIX, AND CONCRETE MIX MOLD Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: concrete mix contains, as binder, cogrinding mix with specific surface 5-7 sq.m/g composed of Portland cement (99.45- 97.85%), superplasticizer (0.5-2%), and silica additive: quartz sand with zirconium traces (0.05-0.15%). Concrete mix is thus composed of, wt %: binder 20-22, crushed rock 46-48, sand 27-28, superplasticizer 0.04, and water - the balance. Concrete also contains organic- or inorganic-origin pigments. Fabrication of concrete products includes: preparation of concrete mix, laying into molds and compacting (vibratory treatment for 90-120 sec), and holding in molds under natural conditions at temperature not below 15 C for at least 24 hr. Mold is made in the form of plastic vessel with plastic liner. EFFECT: reduced watertightness of concrete mix, increased strength of products, and improved mold to provide plain surface and high product size accuracy. 4 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
