FIELD: production of cellulose derivatives, particularly, methods of production of microcrystalline cellulose used in chemical, perfume, pharmaceutical, food industries and medicine. SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary grinding of oat straw; treatment of ground oat straw with solution of sulfuric and peroxomonosylfuric acids at preset concentrations, atmospheric pressure and temperature of mixture boiling at 100-105 C for 0.5-2.0 h. Mechanical grinding is carried out in vibratory mill for 9 min.
