FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, milking equipment. SUBSTANCE: milking unit has two-chamber teat cups, pulsator with constant and variable vacuum chambers, control chamber and constant atmospheric pressure chamber, vacuum milk hoses and milk claw. Casing of milk claw is divided into milk chamber and vacuum chamber. Milk claw vacuum chamber is communicated with pulsator constant vacuum chamber and is provided with plunger positioned in branch pipe so as to be moved in vertical direction, to be fixed in its upper position and to abut against membrane in its lower position. Axial opening in plunger end is continued with radial opening, which is communicated via area beyond plunger and ball valve with pulsator control chamber. Milk claw milk chamber may be closed with membrane in its initial position and its side wall is provided with gauged opening for communication with milk receiver. EFFECT: increased efficiency by improved protection of animal udder tissues from hazardous action of vacuum in case teat cup is kept too long on udder teats, and elimination of "dry milking" effect. 1 dwg
