SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of agriculture, in particular, to livestock sector. The proposed milking unit comprises double-chamber milking sleeves, a pulsator with chambers of continuous vacuum, alternating vacuum, control and constant atmospheric pressure, milk vacuum hoses and a header. The header body is divided into two chambers with a membrane - a milk one with a calibrated hole and a vacuum one. The continuous vacuum chamber of the pulsator is communicated with the header vacuum chamber, comprising a vertical nozzle with a plunger installed in it with the possibility of axial displacement. In the end of this plunger there is an axial hole with a transition into a radial one for communication via a cavity behind the plunger and a ball valve with the control chamber of the pulsator. The header body is also equipped with a fixed partition and an additional membrane. The fixed partition is arranged below the membrane with formation of the continuous vacuum chamber and is made with a central hole and a radial channel that connects the central hole of the fixed partition with atmosphere. The additional membrane is installed below the fixed partition to form a lower vacuum chamber and is equipped with a stem. This stem is installed with its one end in the central hole of a fixed partition, and with the other one it is jammed on the additional membrane. In the stem there is a radial and an axial holes, joined to each other and communicating the chamber of alternating vacuum with the lower vacuum chamber of the header or with a radial channel in the partition.

EFFECT: invention provides for protection of udder tissues of an animal against harmful effect of vacuum when udder teats are overexposed to vacuum, and eliminates "dry milking".
