METHOD OF BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE PREPARATION PREPARING Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, cattle breeding, veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of preparing biologically active preparation from celandine major (Chelidonium majus L.) and involves collection of fresh cut plants in blooming phase and onset of fruits maturation, their milling, placing into lightproof capacity followed by fermentation of plant mass. Fermentation of plant mass is carried out for three stages. Firstly, plant mass is kept in lightproof capacity at 20-36 C for 1.5 month, not less, at uniform drying plant mass by volume up to change of its color for black one and formation of dark liquid. Then plant mass is poured with boiling water at the ratio = (1:2)-(1:3) and fermentation is continued at the same temperature for 1 month, not less, up to fermentation onset. Then liquid is separated from solid fraction and kept at the room temperature for 1.5 month, not less, up to disappearance of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide odor followed by its boiling for 3-7 min. Foam is discarded and liquid is filtered and diluted with distilled water up to gravity density 1003-1004 kg/m³. Preparation can be used for prophylaxis and treatment of cattle. EFFECT: simplified method of preparing, decreased cost, enhanced effectiveness in treatment and prophylaxis of animals with different sicknesses. 1 ex
