FLOW LINE FOR TESTING ROLLED TUBE QUALITY Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: rolled stock production, namely flow line for testing quality of rolled tubes and other rolled products with round cross section. SUBSTANCE: flow line includes arranged according to technological order charging apparatus, rack-type handler, placed mutually in parallel levelling roller tables and wheeled roller table with testing instruments, accumulating pockets and rack. Accumulator for standard tubes and lifting roller table are arranged between handler and rack. Lifting roller table closes the whole flow line to ring. Line also includes set of rests having pairs of rests with pressure rolls driven by the same shaft and pairs of idle rests mounted in upper or lower level relative to driven rests. Wheeled roller table has driven wheeled roller pairs and idle roller pairs. Instruments for testing tubes are arranged in zone of driven wheeled pairs. Driven and idle wheeled roller pairs arranged at both sides of instruments are mounted in upper or lower level relative to wheeled rollers arranged between instruments. End portions of tube supported by means of roller table rest upon rollers that is why tube mean portion is "suspended". EFFECT: reduced beatings of rotated tube at testing its end portions and at testing moving tube length along helical line. 3 dwg
