COIL UNLOADING AND STRAPPING MECHANIZED LINE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: rolled products production equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanized line strapping coils over circumference and their unloading has ejecting gear mounted on buggy moving along guides, device preventing coil loosening mounted at winder reel, stationary strapping machine interacting with buggy and beam conveyor-accumulator mounted square to direction of buggy movement. Head of ejecting gear has slot for engagement with beam of conveyor-accumulator. Rotary table-accumulator equipped with receiver pins is installed on buggy movement axis. Such design of line provides processing of coils of different sizes, both narrow and wide, and two address unloading of preparation set.
