SUBSTANCE: operating mechanism of switch using autocompression-type arc-control device has hydraulic pump, control valves with electromagnetic actuators, power cylinder with piston, bellows with covers, casing in the form of sleeve rigidly fixed to upper cover of bellows with its cavity under movable lower cover filled with compressed gas (energy accumulator) whose temperature is controlled by sensor and maintained constant by means of heater and automatic-control system. As an alternative, diameter of piston-shaped movable lower cover of bellows may be greater than active diameter of bellows and equal to sleeve diameter or it may be equal to bellows diameter and smaller than sleeve diameter.
