SUBSTANCE: arc-control device has power and auxiliary contacts one of which has nozzle, insulating nozzle, pumping cavity confined by inner surface of insulating nozzle and auxiliary contacts and combined with intercontact gap; it communicates with compression chamber through slit contact and with general space of circuit breaker through annular slit channel formed by outer surface of spring-loaded auxiliary contact and inner surface of insulating nozzle. Annular slit channel of critical section at exit to pumping space ensures crosswise blast. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
