FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: tool may be used for surface scratching, polishing, glossing, cleaning and drying. It consists of cut and treated nonwoven material made of fiber. To improve properties of tool, nonwoven material is manufactured by mechanical process only. Nonwoven material represents elastic object which allows its immersion and at least partial enveloping at machining pressure of nonwoven material with unoriented arrangement of fibers and mechanical strength equal to 150-500 N/50 mm and elongation at rupture of 50-150% according to DIN 53857/2.
