FIELD: waste water disposal. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to solid fuels fabricated from municipal waste water sediments to which 10-75% (calculated for solid substances) cellulose- containing materials (vegetable, wood materials, and also woodworking and paper-and-pulp industry wastes, etc.) are added before mechanical dehydration of the former, after which resulting mixture is ground until homogeneous pulp is obtained wherein cellulose fibers of two types are formed: long (0.1-1.0 mm) and short (shorter than 0.05 mm) ones. Mixture is then mechanically dehydrated, dried at temperature not below 80 C, and compacted in the form of fuel briquettes or granulated product. EFFECT: reduced expenses, especially those on high expensive flocculants, and lessened municipal waste problem. 1 tbl
