FIELD: construction machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: slot cutter is intended for cutting narrow slots in hard ground and particularly in asphalt-concrete road pavements. Slot cutter has frame, crank, links, and cutting tools. Working links together with cutting tools are installed on cantilever parts of cranks and together with them and frame they create pair of parallelogram mechanisms. Parallelogram mechanisms operate in counterphase mode. Mechanisms are power-driven from common shaft. Application of aforesaid embodiment of slot cutter reduces power input of working process when cutting narrow slots in hard ground and asphalt-concrete pavements.
