SUBSTANCE: unit is designed to drive crankshaft by means of air flow supplied to blades of turbogenerator connected to electric motor which is coupled with shaft; unit has three functional sections capable of building up shaft torque both separately and jointly. One of sections performs turbogenerator, or motor, or turbomechanical function. Unit is provided with separate compressor feeding air flow to turbine blades of section performing turbomechanical function; it also has regenerator ring and motor-generator compressor.
