FIELD: mechanical engineering; automobile industry. SUBSTANCE: propelling unit used for converting counter-flow air energy into electricity has turbomechanical drive coupled through central shaft to main engine and though set of gears, to shafts of turbine-generator-motor propellers. Unit incorporates six turbine-generator-motor propellers with ribbed turbines. The latter mount at their front stators and rotors of generators and at rear side, those of motors. Central propellers are arranged to feed air flow to turbine-driven impeller of turbomechanical drive. EFFECT: provision for crankshaft rotation both from main engine and from additional-energy generating unit. 2 dwg
