FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed variable-speed drive is designed for stepless changing of gear ratio between input and output shafts. Gear- and-lever variable speed drive has input and output shafts, ratio change handle, cams, three-shaft gear differential train two shafts of which are provided, each, with pair of overrunning clutches, and drive mechanisms. Drive mechanisms are installed for conveying rotation with relative phase shift through 90o. Drive mechanisms include links, sliders, rams engaging with cams, toothed racks coupled with overrunning mechanisms, and levers. Axles of levers are installed to form rotary pairs with links and are mechanically coupled with gear ratio change handle with possibility of displacement.
