FIELD: mechanical engineering; stepless hydrostatic transmissions. SUBSTANCE: stepless hydrostatic transmission has input shaft, output shaft, pump rotated by input shaft, stationary secured hydraulic motor and wedge- shaped rocking disk hinge-coupled with output shaft in place arranged between hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor and providing passage of liquid between hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor. Transmission has ratio changer with piston with hydraulic drive arranged inside output shaft. By means of control valve, also arranged inside output shaft, different pressures of working liquid onto opposite end face surfaces of piston are built to provide positive axial displacement of piston and angular displacement of rocking disk connected with piston at which gear ratio is changed.
