FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making laser destruction of subcutaneous vein trunk. Wave guide having 20 W output power is applied. The wave guide is moved along the vein lumen at a speed of 0.8-1.2 cm/s. Flexible bandages are applied to extremity on gauze roller along the vein. Vein wall contact with working end of the light guide is provided. EFFECT: low risk of traumatic complications; reliable vein obliteration.
