FIELD: separation of solid ground materials by gravity in liquid medium; applicable in main and finishing operations of mineral raw material concentration. SUBSTANCE: method includes formation of spiral flow of treated pulp; moving of flow in longitudinal direction in which catching coating is produced in the form of flow of heavy medium in movable round pan with forced circulation; filling of catching coating with elements of valuable components. Particles are separated by gravity or by inertia moment with their catching or repulsing by flow of heavy medium. Device has round pan with branch pipes for water supply, drive, loading appliance, branches for discharging of tailings and concentrate, catching coating in the form of loose heavy medium. Pan is attached symmetrically with the help of flour flexible detents to tailing collector which is secured to movable deck. Drive is made in the form of deck with torsion-bar suspension installed for setting complicated orbital motions for round pan.
