FIELD: methods and devices for obtaining concentrate from fine and thin particles of valuable component in the course of flushing in sluice box, mainly gold and platinum-containing sands. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes acceleration of material to be separated forming pulsating flow of pulp over chute of sluice box with bottom made in form of components of template mounted in succession. Each part of sectional template is closed at the top with sheet of screen where holes are drilled. Each component of template has inlet slot between sheet of screen and jointing riffle whose area is greater than that of outlet slot. Velocity of pulp flow inside each component of template is reduced due to intake of part of upper flow of pulp through inlet slot; this flow is directed to top of screen sheet of subsequent component of template.
