CYLINDRICAL MECHANISM OF LOCK SECRECY Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2148139 C1

FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical mechanism has body located in housing and turning bush which is kinematically connected with latch of lock. Made in latch and bush are coaxial radial holes. Some holes of them are coaxial with radial holes made in key. Located in each hole coaxial to key hole is one ball. Diameter of this ball is larger than thickness of wall of turning bush. Located between ball and external surface of body is limiter. Located in each of remaining holes which are not coaxial to key holes is single ball. Diameter of ball is not larger than thickness of wall of turning bush. Also seated there is spring-biased pusher. End of pusher resting against ball is made in the form of truncated cone or ball segment. Aforesaid embodiment of lock allows for widening its functional potentialities due to its application on doors differently oriented in space. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
