FIELD: water-stream-kinetic-energy-to-electrical-energy conversion. SUBSTANCE: power plant is modular structure. Bank supports are embedded in ground (in canyons and to walls) and have guides receiving supporting parts of frames loosely mounted therein. These parts of frames are placed above water stream with power units rigidly fixed underneath through pins for their vertical displacement together with frames in guides and for holding them motionless when their blades are adequately immersed in water stream. Horizontal links are provided between frames to take horizontal thrusts. In case of very wide water stream frames have spatial structure on top in the form of truss that functions to ensure desired stiffness in vertical direction.
