FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: storage cell has case, cover, current leads, flange attached to case on cover side, flexible member, and set of plates built up of electrochemical groups isolated from each other by means of gas separators. The latter are used as flexible member placed between flange attached to case and metal flange whose conical side surface is joined with respective conical surface of case part; in addition, metal flange may be welded to case.
