SUBSTANCE: according to invention, cell consists of plate (electrode) groups placed in case and connected with current terminals. Plates are separated by gas separators. End gas metal flanges connected to cylindrical shell of case provide pressing of electrochemical plate groups. EFFECT: simplified design, improved performance characteristics owing to absence of tie-rods and provision of separate current pick-off from each unlike electrode. 1 dwg
