FIELD: materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation of transportation of loads and load-handling and storehouse operations and can be used on ships for loading and unloading of cargoes. Device has pin installed on trolley for movement in guides. One end of pin engages with socket made on carrying structure of rack in place of trolley placing and engages also through swinging lever of articulated lever mechanism with trolley locking drive. Pin position locking mechanism is also provided. Pin is spring-loaded and is installed for engagement by other end with socket of trolley drive traction member. Pin is provided with catcher engaging with above indicated swinging lever. Articulated lever mechanism and trolley locking drive are arranged on carrying structure of rack. EFFECT: provision of constant holding of load trolley and improved safety at exposure to external loads, for instance, at ship rolling and pitching. 3 cl, 4 dwg
