FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: loading can be done without external load lifting devices. Before loading transportation platform is placed under container installed on supports adjustable in height. Transportation platform is hinge connected with container by means of tie-rods. Then platform is lifted to provide contact of load platform with support surface of container. Simultaneously preset position of transportation platform relative to container is provided. Then container and transportation platform are lowered onto support platform by means of adjustable supports and the latter are removed. Relative position of container and transportation platform is fixed. In other design version extension turnable supports mounted on container are used as adjustable supports. Turnable supports can be set in travelling position. Transportation set has transportation platform with mounted-on container made for resting on adjustable supports installed for contact with support platform. Transportation set has transportation platform lifting drive coupled with container. Lifting drive is provided with tie-rod forming swinging suspension of transportation platform. Guide members made on transportation platform and container engage with each other. Transportation set has container-and-transportation platform relative position detachable locking devices. In other design version lifting drive is made in form of screw mechanisms installed on frame of transportation platform, and tie-rods are made detachable.
