FIELD: liquid fuel production. SUBSTANCE: additives are prepared through interaction of C16-C18-alpha-olefins with sulfur at 150-160 C in presence of diethanolamine or triethanolamine, or N-methylpyrrolidone in concentrations 1 to 5% of the weight of olefins. Additives show elevated antiscuffing and antiwear characteristics and also high thermal stability and oxidation capacity. EFFECT: simplified process technology and reduced toxicity. 6 ex
