METHOD OF PRODUCING SPECIAL VODKA Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of aromatic alcohol from wormwood by way of skimming at distillation ethereal oils, containing in it, in aqueous-alcoholic liquid of 70-75% strength. Mixture of 40% strength is prepared from ethyl rectified alcohol "Extra" and softened potable water and then it is cleaned by activated carbon. Introduced in cleaned mixture is 65.8-% sugar syrup and aromatic alcohol by three equal doses carrying out mixing after introduction of each dose. The prepared vodka is filtered and bottled. It contains the following ingredients, l per 1000 dal: wormwood aromatic alcohol, 4.5-5.5; 65.8-% sugar syrup, 5.5-6.5; aqueous-alcoholic liquid, the balance. The proposed method allows to improve vodka organoleptical properties with using of ingredients minimum, and gives vodka pleasant tone of cinnamon in aftertaste.
