METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF SPECIAL VODKA "BOGATYANOVSKAYA" Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: an aqueous-alcoholic mixture is prepared from drinking water and rectified ethyl alcohol "EKSTRA" (proof is 40%). Mixture is stirred, 65.8%-th sugar syrup is added and treated by injection of activated carbon to the flow of the mixture of an aqueous-alcoholic mixture with sugar syrup. Then particles of activated carbon are removed and aromatic alcohol consisting of the mixture of hop, common wormwood, Saint-John's-wort and caraway is added. Vodka is filtered and poured. The combination of deep treatment of an aqueous-alcoholic mixture by its direct contact with activated carbon and its components at their quantitative ratio ensures to obtain vodka exhibiting stability at storage, high organoleptic indices, increased biological activity.
