FIELD: hydrometallurgy of gold and silver; technology of recovery of metals by sorption from cyanide solutions and pulps. SUBSTANCE: method includes sorption of cyanides with anionites, eluation of gold and/or silver with solutions containing zinc cyanides from saturated anionite with production of eluate and subsequent regeneration of anionite. In process of eluation of gold and/or silver from anionite, mainly, of midbase type (AM-2B), produced eluate is recycled by direction of its part for treatment of anionite before eluation. Zinc is eluated with solutions of alkali in amount of 1-2 volumetric parts of solution per volumetric part of anionite with duration of phase contact of 2-4 h. Regenerated anionite is directed again for sorption of gold and/or silver. EFFECT: higher concentration of gold in cyanide eluates with reduced concentration of impurities, exclusion of corrosive reagents and simplified technology. 5 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 2 ex
