SUBSTANCE: separation of nickel and cobalt is effected by extraction of nickel with extractant containing carboxylates in mixture with nonchelating aldoximes in presence of monocarboxylic acis at monocarboxylic acid-carboxylate mole ratio equal to or higher than 5. Reextraction of cobalt and nickel is carried out successively with different reagents (for instance, H₂SO₄, H₂O, (NH₄)₂SO₄)).
